The events that led to shots fired on the south side are under investigation.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to the area of Cameron and Simpson Streets just before 10:30 p.m. on January 30th.
Further investigation revealed an incident involving a firearm had occurred on Bethune Street.
Police remain in the area and continue to maintain a scene.
Members of the Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Unit are now involved in the ongoing investigation.
No known injuries have been reported.
