Shelter House will roll out its Street Outreach Services throughout the summer.
The organization announced today it’s received enough funding from the city and District Social Services Administration Board to see the program through until December.
Executive director Patty Hajdu says they’re letting out a sigh of relief. She says the money helps alleviate the load on the system, and anticipates need for the program will grow throughout the summer.
Late last year, Shelter House said it was struggling to maintain its level of services, but Hajdu wouldn’t comment on whether or not that’s still the case. (File photo)
