Social Services Board Requires Proof Of Vaccination

Employees will need proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to enter any facility owned by the Social Services Board.

Staff with the District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board (TBDSSAB) were given 45 days to provide proof of both doses or documented exemption.

98 per cent have obliged with the ruling as of November 5th, while those who are not fully vaccinated will participate in an education session and must regularly provide proof of negative antigen test results.

“The safety and well being of staff, service users, and communities is a top priority for TBDSSAB,” explains CAO Bill Bradica. “Vaccination policies help us increase the safety of our offices and housing properties without creating barriers to services for the people we serve.”

Contractors performing any work or fulfilling any obligations on-site are required to submit an attestation by November 15th.

Service users are not required to show proof of vaccination to enter or use services.
