Fresh snow helped Thunder Bay police arrest a suspected car hopper.
They tell us it was around 3:30 this morning when they were alerted to a suspicious man checking car doors in the 1300 block of Forest Street.
Police add they followed the suspect’s footprints in the snow to a garage in the backyard of a nearby residence.
Police charged the 24-year old Thunder Bay man with trespassing, obstruct peace officers and breach of probation.
They also say the man gave a false name during the arrest.

Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
