Now just 64 active cases of COVID-19 in the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.
Included in the update Wednesday nine new cases with four obtained from someone else who had the virus.
There continue to be eleven active cases within Lakehead Public Schools and just one in the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board.
As of December 22nd the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre has three of five patients admitted for COVID-19 in the Intensive Care Unit.
In the province 4,383 new cases, a daily high that has not seen since late April.
