Shuniah Fire and Emergency Services are reporting several collisions this morning in their neck of the woods.
They say several lanes of Highway 11/17 were closed while crews dealt with crashes near the McGregor Landfill toward Quarry Road.
Officials are warning you to drive safe, saying despite sanding operations highway 11/17 and highway 527 have considerable black ice.
