Shuniah Fire says they are battling a fire next to railway tracks on the north side of Highway 11/17.
The fire is just east of Pearl and there are reports of flames in a field area near the tracks.
Shuniah Fire reported the blaze on their twitter feed just after 3:30 this afternoon.
