People Magazine has named their “Sexiest Man Alive 2018”, and the honour goes to British actor Idris Elba. When he found out how sexy he is, the 46-year-old said “It was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.” Imagine getting a title like that bestowed upon you? Do you go around constantly telling people that you’re the sexiest? Does it expire after the year, or is it like being President of the USA, and you are always referred to as “The Sexiest Man”? I guess we’d have to ask George Clooney.
I actually saw Idris Elba in person once. It was at an airport bar in Orlando. Although I’d like to say that I can predict the future, it didn’t immediately jump out to me that he was the sexiest man alive. He did seem like a cool dude though. He was rocking a toque and was super tall and fit. I was rocking Mickey Mouse ears and was average height and stout. It was like looking in a mirror.
