Police were called to Edward St S for a reported assault.
Friday April 29, officers arrived around 11pm and located an adult male with significant injuries which were consistent with a stabbing.
The male victim was treated and assessed at the scene before paramedics with Superior North EMS transported him to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. The victim remains at the hospital with serious injuries.
As a result of their investigation, officers at the scene identified and arrested a 28 year old male from Thunder Bay and 32 year old female also from the city.
Both appeared in bail court on Saturday, April 30 with various assault charges and were remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
