Police say they have made a second arrest in connection with the Valentine’s Day armed robbery at The Shopper’s Drug Mart on Red River Road.
They say that 35 year old Sherry Toal surrendered peacefully at a north side apartment. 51 year old Larry Lenton was arrested the day of robbery. Both will appear in court on February 24th.
No one was hurt in the incident in which police say a woman made off with an amount of cash after brandishing what was described as a black semi automatic pistol. They say she escaped in a waiting passenger van.
A replica firearm was later recovered.
