Update 11am, Monday:
Officers are still at the scene of a serious assault.
The call came in just before 1:30 p.m. Sunday to a reported weapons call at a residential address on Alberta Street.
A woman was found at the scene with serious injuries and transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for treatment.
The scene is being held as the investigation continues.
