Salvation Army Sees Increased Demand for Services

In a time of economic uncertainty, a report from the Salvation Army stated that the demand for their services has increased. The organization saw a 27 per cent increase in families with children that need assistance and 31 per cent of households served this year were first-time clients. They provided aid for Atlantic Canadians in the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona and displaced people reached out to the organization for help.
