Rural Health Fair returning to Kakabeka Falls

The Norwest Community Health Centres has announced that the 7th annual Rural Health Fair is returning.

The event is taking place on Wednesday at the Kakabeka Legion from noon to 3:00 p.m. This year’s event is focused on fostering healthy connections within an aging community to enhance health and well-being.

“Our annual Rural Health Fair is a cornerstone event for NorWest CHC,” said NorWest CHC Kakabeka Site Coordinator Elaine Peters. “This year, we’re emphasizing the importance of social connections in maintaining health and wellbeing, especially as we age.”

The senior-focused event will have over 30 exhibitors showcasing various health services and products.
