Royal Edward Arms Offers Library Space

The transformation of the Royal Edward Arms continues with the opening of a new library.

Building manager Amanda, who didn’t want her last name published, tells us with drug problems some people face in the area, she wants everyone to feel free to stop by.

“Instead of doing illegal acts, they’re more than welcome to come in, sit down, read some books, play some board games, [or] chit-chat,” she explains. “We’re here for them just as much as we are here for the people in the building.”

The manager claims they’re working with the district health and housing units, in trying to deal with drug problems in the area.
