FedNor Minister Greg Rickford is doling out 1.5 million dollars to five regional initiatives.
The money will go towards the Northern Ontario Angels Enterprise Gateway, the Innovation Centre, Confederation College, the research farm and the Northern Chiefs Council.
90-K be used at the research farm to develop a feasibility study to explore business opportunities for the organization.
