The call is out for temporary warehouse space for the Regional Food Distribution Association.
RFDA Executive Director Volker Kromm tells us it is because they are running out of space for all the food hampers they supply across the region.
He explains “If I can find 15,000 square feet somewhere then we can bring our forklift in and move pallets around and assemble more hampers.”
The RFDA official says they will be willing to pay for use of the extra space.
Kromm suggests:
-Warehouse space
-Empty retail space
-Aircraft hangar
-School building
-Manufacturing facility
The Association helps to keep area food banks stocked.
