Paramedics are collecting food for the Regional Food Bank.
Spokesperson Tegan Fletcher says they’ll be accepting donations of canned goods and other food items.
They’ll be stuffing ambulances at the Real Canadian Superstore from 8-4 today.
“Last year, we filled two [ambulances], we got 2.1 tonnes of food. We’d love to best that this year.”
Fletcher tells us it’s a coincidence its taking place the same day as the Santa Clause Parade, but hopes the event will bring more people to the area who will donate to the RFDA and help them exceed their goal.
