The city is making sure everyone is aware they operate a service that reminds you about when your garbage and recycling day is.
Residents are able to receive reminders providing additional information on garbage and recycling pick-ups, as well as special collection events such as leaf and yard waste.
These reminders are available through various means, e-mail, text messages, phone calls, even Twitter. Spokesperson Jason Sherband says the service has been offered for over a year now and there are about 15 hundred people signed up.
