Brian McKinnon wants your feedback on a number of items, including the 2021 operating and capital budgets.
The Red River Ward Councillor is holding a virtual town hall meeting starting at 7:00 p.m.
McKinnon says he’ll address a number of items related to the ongoing budget process, including what property taxes might look like for citizens.
“If this is your number, here’s what it might mean to you in terms of how much you’re going to pay in 2021,” says McKinnon. “I’ll also address other ward related issues, including which roads are going to paved this year and which sidewalks will be fixed or replaced.”
The Councillor continues to go over the pre-budget concerns put forward by Thunder Bayers, and there’s a theme that stood out to him.

“Almost, without fail, services were number one. You almost had the sense that residents were telling us ‘don’t touch the services’ and I’m aware of that,” McKinnon notes.
