Rafferty Wants Retirement Back At 65

A northwestern Ontario MP wants Canada’s retirement age restored to 65.

Thunder Bay-Rainy River’s John Rafferty has put a motion forward at the House of Commons.

Rafferty says the federal government’s arguments to move it to 67 don’t hold weight.

Rafferty says the Canada Pension Plan is strong and will have more than enough money right through to 2075. (File photo)
