McKellar Ward’s councillor calls it near insanity that the city wants to stop a popular north-side restaurant from adding seating.
Paul Pugh notes they already approved the request from Bonobo’s Foods back in November, on the condition that the owners added 8 parking spots to keep customers from parking on the street.
The issue will be back before council on Monday, with a motion to deny Bonobos’ request, which he’ll vote against.
Neighbours have been complaining of customers parking on the street, of which Pugh notes there are only problems during peak hours, and not all day.
