A Thunder Bay junior mining company is getting half a million dollars from the province to help advance plans for a new graphite mine in northwestern Ontario.
Aubrey Eveleigh of Zenyatta Ventures says the proposed mine near Constance Lake and Hearst could be up and running before the end of the decade. He says the best case scenario is 2018.
Eveleigh says they still have to go through a full feasibility study and complete various independent reports as required by the government. He says they’re very optimistic about the success of the project adding, there has been global interest in it.
