Prime Minister Stephen Harper releasing a statement in the wake of the deadly shootings at French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris where 12 people died and another 10 were injured.
The Prime Minister says he is angered and saddened to hear of the terrorist attack saying the perpetrators of the attack must be apprehended and brought to justice.
Harper says this barbaric act along with those in Sydney, Ottawa and near Montreal, is a grim reminder that no country is immune to the types of terrorist attacks we’ve seen elsewhere around the world.
He goes on to say that Canadians stand with France on this dark day.
