A warning from the Thunder Bay Health Unit that some street percocet pills are confirmed to actually contain fentanyl or heroin.
Detective Inspector John Fennell tells us this is very dangerous.
“The difficulty or the concern for the public is they’re unaware of what they’re putting in their body, so it could absolutely have adverse effects leading to anything, including death.”
The police officer suggests if you use street drugs, do so safely at the local overdose prevention site.
