Police Seeking “Person’s of Interest” In Murder Investigation

Thunder Bay Police are asking for the public’s assistance as they continue to investigate the murder of 31-year-old Corey Belesky.

First responders were called to a Brent Street home just after 1 a.m. on November 1st to reports of an injured male, who was later pronounced deceased.

Police have now released two images of ‘persons of interest’ taken at a store in the vicinity of the murder.

Investigators hope a member of the public who may have had an interaction or witnessed these individuals in the area the hours leading up to the homicide to contact them.

Detective Inspector Jeremy Pearson says the time period they are looking at is from 9 p.m. October 31st to 2 a.m. November 1st.

“I say this recognizing that of course encompasses Halloween night, and there was a tremendous amount of foot traffic. We are hopeful however three adult males travelling together may jog the memories of someone.”
