An appeal for help from the public is coming from Thunder Bay police in relation to a serious assault involving a gun.
They say at around 3 o’clock Tuesday morning they were called to the Regional Health Sciences Centre to reports of an injured man.
Police say this has become a major case, adding the original incident likely happened in the North James and Limbrick Street area around an hour earlier.
Authorities believe this was a targeted incident, with the victim’s injuries, likely from the weapon serious, but non-life threatening.
