Police Respond To Unfounded Gunshot Call

A Windsor Street complex area was again the scene of a police investigation.

They responded to an anonymous call of shots being fired at the 288 address just before 8:00 last night.

However, when police got there, multiple people told them they didn’t hear anything, and a search of the area didn’t reveal damage to property, injuries or information to back up the anonymous call.

Now, while police were talking to one man, he took off, but was caught after a foot chase in the Brittany Drive and Carl Avenue area.

The 24-year old was arrested on an outstanding warrant, and charged with providing a false name to police, resisting arrest and breach of probation.

Police were there on a call early Monday morning.
