Police Release McMillan St. Murder Scene

Police are asking the public for help in the city’s most recent homicide.

Officers responded to a call on McMillan Street following a reported weapons incident in the afternoon of Friday, July 29.

When officers arrived, they located a deceased 37-year-old Thunder Bay man. Consultation with the family remains ongoing and, as a result, the victim’s identity is not being released at this time.

A post-mortem examination of the deceased has been completed and police can confirm that a firearm was used during the initial incident.
