City police say two of their officers were assaulted at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
They tell us early this morning a female was was found in distress earlier at a Pacific Avenue residence and rushed to the hospital.
That’s when police say, she became combative with nurses and in the process assaulted one officer.
The youth was then taken away from the area, and that’s when the second officer was assaulted.
She is now charged.
