Charges of Careless Driving and Driving Without Insurance have been laid against a 27-year old Thunder Bay woman after a collision with a police car.
Local police say the crash happened at the intersection of Robertson and McKenzie Streets just before noon Sunday.
They add the southbound SUV crossed into the path of the northbound police car.
The officer was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for his injuries, and was released later. There were no other injuries.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
