Thunder Bay police have taken a 29 year old man into custody in connection to an attempted murder Monday evening.
Officers and paramedics were dispatched to an area of Fassina Street shortly before 9 p.m. to reports of a disturbance.
A seriously injured male was located and rushed to hospital.
An investigation through the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units lead to the identification of a male suspect.
Jessie Kuokkanen of Thunder Bay was taken into custody shortly after 6 a.m. this morning, and has been charged:
• Armed Robbery
• Attempted Murder
He appeared in court today and has been remanded into custody.
