Police Looking For Woman Involved In Crash

Police are looking for a woman they say failed to remain at the scene of an accident yesterday at the intersection of Isabella Street and Ford.

Just after the noon hour, they say a dark coloured SUV was travelling west bound on Isabella and failed to stop for the stop sign at Ford, causing the driver to hit a 60 year old man on a motorcycle.

Officers tells us the driver checked on the man but left him injured and lying on the road.

The woman is described as a blonde and was wearing a colourful shirt at the time of the crash. Her SUV is expected to have some damage to the front passenger side bumper area.

Police are asking you to be on the lookout for a damaged dark coloured SUV and if you see it to call the Traffic Unit at 684-1276.
