City police have announced they are investigating a homicide.
A visible police presence is expected to remain around Tamarack Place.
Officers were sent to the area Friday morning after receiving calls for assistance.
Upon arrival, they found a male victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.
An active investigation is ongoing and residents are asked to avoid the area.
Anyone with information, or has surveillance or dash camera video that captured footage that may assist the investigation, is asked to call police at (807) 684-1200.
