Police investigating homicide in County Fair Mall area

The Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) has declared that an investigation is underway into a homicide that happened Tuesday evening near the Landmark Hotel.

After a 911 call around 5:30 p.m. about an injured male, emergency services arrived at the scene.

The male was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, where he was pronounced dead.

The TBPS’s Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Investigation Unit are both participating in the investigation.

Police still have a presence at the crime scene.
