The Thunder Bay Police Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Unit are looking into an assault early Wednesday morning.
Police say they were called out around 4 am to Ray Boulevard.
An injured man was located and taken to hospital for treatment of non-threatening injuries.
A 19-year-old male suspect was located and arrested.
He faces aggravated assault charges.
He appeared in court and was remanded into custody pending a future appearance.
