VIDEO: Police Directing Traffic For Pipeline Protest

A peaceful protest is taking place this afternoon on Red River Road as a group of people come together for an event they are calling “Thunder Bay Stands in Solidarity with Wet’suwet’en.”

The rally was meant as a way to support the Indigenous chiefs protesting against Coastal Gas Links and the RCMP who organizers felt are invading Wet’Suwet’en land.

Thunder Bay Police directed traffic in areas around Red River that included Algoma to Water Streets.

The page for the rally can be found HERE.
