Video: Police Need Help In Solving Cold Case

City police are drawing a blank when it comes to finding out who was responsible for a city murder four years ago.

They are now asking for your help in trying to get more information in the 2014 death of 32 year old William Darryl Wapoose.

His body was found on a bike path at the south end of Chapples Drive around 7:30 in the morning of September 3rd.

They are hoping that by publicizing the anniversary of his death it might jog your memory, or of someone you know, and provide them with more information.

A $50,000 reward which had been offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction failed to produce any new leads and has since been withdrawn.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
