PLT Continue To Increase

Ontario’s finance minister says they are continuing to implement Provincial Land Tax Reforms.

That means residents living in unincorporated areas of northwestern Ontario can expect to pay more for their property taxes in the years ahead.

Charles Sousa says they still haven’t settled on a rate increase for 2017 yet.

Last year the rate increase was 10 dollars per 100 thousand dollars of assessment and that will increase by another 40 dollars this year.
