Paying More For Electricity

There’s an increase coming to your electricity bill in Thunder Bay and Kenora.

Synergy North has received approval from the Ontario Energy Board to increase rates in Thunder Bay by $1.02 on a monthly bill while Kenora customers will pay $2.46 more per month.

Also, the fixed monthly distribution charge will jump to $26.40 in Thunder Bay and $32.50 in Kenora.

The new rates take effect on May 1st.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
