Councillor Andrew Foulds is dealing with some unhappy parents over the state of the Gresley Parkette.
Part of that is due to older play equipment that’s been removed, something he figures is due to safety concerns.
He adds he’s not sure when the equipment will be returned but he will be lobbying for new equipment in the next budget.
He’s doesn’t like budget cuts made to parks recently, adding families need safe places to bring their kids.
People also want benches and picnic tables returned. (File photo)
