OSSTF Growing Frustrated

The president of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation says the clock is ticking.

Paul Elliott, a Fort Frances high school teacher, says the uncertainty surrounding teacher contracts is leaving the union with no choice but to clear the way for stike action. He notes teachers don’t want to strike, but might have to in order to put some pressure on local school boards to negotiate.

Elliott says frustration among teachers is rising because they’ve been without a contract since the beginning of the school year.
