Orders Extended Due To COVID-19

Some restrictions that have been in place in Ontario due to COVID-19 have been extended.

Under the Reopening Ontario Act, they will stay in place until September 22nd.

The government says the lengthy list includes how work is done in retirement homes and single long-term care homes, special rules concerning pandemic pay, as well as patios.

These restrictions were put in place when the State of Emergency started, but when that ended, the government created legislation to keep certain orders in place, to ensure vulnerable people are protected.
