Kenora OPP and other emergency response teams are currently on the scene of what they are calling a serious assault in the downtown area of Kenora.
They say just after midnight last night they were called to a downtown residence regarding a report of a seriously injured man.
He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police are currently holding a scene on a trail near the railway tracks on Main Street North, and encourage anyone who has information regarding this incident to call them, or Crimestoppers.
