The Provincial Police are gearing up for a major recruitment drive.
Detachments across the region and all of Ontario will be hosting Open Houses next Saturday as part of Recruitment Day.
Dryden Sergeant Ben Curtis says the purpose is to provide knowledge, insight and helpful advice to assist and guide you through the OPP recruitment process.
Curtis says the event will include mentoring sessions and specialty unit demonstrations.
He adds attendees will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of front-line officers, specialty units, civilian members and recruiters.
Curtis says “we are actively recruiting qualified candidates for provincial constable. We are offering competitive salaries, pensions, vacations, benefits and also room for advancement.”
Several other positions are open as well.
