The OPP say they have found a boy who intentionally walked away from his campsite near Basswood Lake, in Quetico Provincial Park.
On Friday the Northwest Emergency Response Team along with the Ministry of Natural Resouces and Forestry, the Lake County Sheriff’s Department
in Minnesota and members of the St. Louis Search and Rescue began the search.
As a result the youth was safely located and returned to Minnesota without incident.
The search also involved the Canada Border Service Agency, and Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada.
