Only long-term care and retirement homes will require mask-wearing as of June 11th.
Chief Medical Officer of Health for Ontario Dr. Kieran Moore announced Wednesday that most remaining COVID-19 mask mandates will lift this coming weekend.
Moore stated that high vaccination rates and the improving provincial situation for COVID-19 as reasons for the move.
The mask mandate in high-risk settings was extended after it was originally set to expire on April 27th.
