Ontario Drafting Bill To Protect Quarantined Workers

A new bill could give Ontarians time off work for quarantine or self-isolation.

The Premier is drafting the legislation in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Doug Ford’s office says it’s mean to let workers focus on their health and caring for family members without fear of losing their jobs.

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath says she wants to strengthen the bill with supports for shelters and hospitals as well.
