Erase the Difference.
That’s the theme of this year’s Mental Health Week.
Sarah Dias is the executive director of the Canadian Mental Health Association office in Kenora and says one of the things they are doing this year is an on-line petition.
“Getting signatures to demand more funding in regards to mental health services across the province. So to date, we have more than 10 thousand signatures.”.
Dias says they are trying to convince all the main party leaders to commit more funding for mental health.
Mental Health Week runs from May 7th to 13th.
