The provincial government wants to hear from you about possible changes to the Ontario Municipal Board.
The OMB, which is involved in Ontario’s land-use planning process, has the ability to overturn city council decisions on zoning matters.
Municipal Affairs Minister and Thunder Bay – Atikokan MPP Bill Mauro says it’s looking at bringing fewer municipal-level decisions to the OMB.
He adds Thunder Bay is one of the communities hosting a town hall discussion on the proposed changes later this fall.
