Here’s my big confession of the week: I don’t watch Game of Thrones. I tried, I honestly did. I binge watched the first season but when I had to wait almost a year for the second season to come out, I lost interest. I tried going back to watch first season again recently and just couldn’t get into it. Maybe it was because I knew what was going to happen, maybe it was because all of the constant hype turned me off…I’m not sure. I will say that it’s nice to not care about people posting spoilers of things though. Maybe there’s something just not right with me when it comes to popular TV and Movies. I haven’t seen a lot of movies that people think are pinnacle movies…I’ve never seen Titanic, strictly based on the fact that I know what’s going to happen at the end, so why bother? And I’ve never seen Avatar either. Something about them just didn’t click with me the way they did with the rest of humanity. Admittedly there are plenty of movies that were big hits that I DID get in to (Star Wars, Black Panther, Forrest Gump, Schindler’s List) but some of the biggest movies and TV shows I just don’t get.
